Palgrave Macmillan

Social Policy

With a backlist that includes works from the pioneer of social policy research, Richard Titmuss, Palgrave Macmillan’s social policy list has an enviable history. The current programme includes series on Work and Welfare in Europe, and Palgrave Studies in Science, Knowledge and Policy, which addresses the relationship between ‘expert’ knowledge and policy. Recently, we are proud to have published work by Peter Taylor-Gooby, Bruno Palier, Martin Seelieb-Kaiser and Colin Rochester, and Residential Care Transformed by Julia Johnson, Sheena Rolph and Randall Smith was the winner of the inaugural British Academy’s Peter Townsend Policy Press Book Prize.

Our social policy list continues to grow and we welcome book proposals from across the field.
